CLOTHING ASSISTANCE

We will begin accepting applications on Monday, June 7th, 2021.
Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
Applications will NOT be accepted if you do not have all required information.
Eligibility Guidelines
  • Parents must be residents of Fairfield County
  • Income at, or below, 125% of the poverty guideline:
    For a family of 4 annual income is $26,500, monthly income is $2,208 and weekly income is $509
Instructions For Submitting an Application for Back To School Clothing Assistance

We are currently accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year

If you need assistance, please call 2-1-1.

  • If you have no income and/or expenses, please explain why on the comment section of the application.
  • If you have expenses but no income, you must provide a written letter from the source that pays your expenses.  For example, if you have a parent that pays your expenses, you must submit a letter from your parent stating they pay all of your expenses.
  • One application per household, if multiple families reside in the same household, just complete one application for everyone in the household, use a second application to list everyone in the household, if needed.
  • We will call you if there are any questions so please leave a good number to reach you or a good message phone number.  If your number changes, you must call us and let us know.

 

Submission

You MUST provide copies of the following documents with your application

 

  • Photo ID for the person applying
  • Photo ID, social security cards, or birth certificates for ALL adults and children living in the household
  • Proof of address – bill, bank statement, letter from SSA or JFS, etc.
  • Proof of ALL income for the household, this includes wages, social security income, child support, military benefits, kinship benefits, cash assistance, etc.
  • You do not need to submit copies of your expenses
  • Enrollment letter for all children entering preschool, Head Start/Help Me Grow and Kindergarten

 

You can submit your application in multiple ways:

 

  • In person to our office, 108 W. Main Street, Suite C, Lancaster. Monday – Friday 9am – 3pm
  • You can email your application and required copies to info@fairfieldcounty211.org
  • You can fax your application and copies of required documents to us at 740-687-9827
  • You can submit clear photos of your application and supporting documentation on our Facebook page:
     https://www.facebook.com/FairfieldCounty211, please use the messenger function to submit personal information. 

 

NOTIFICATION: If any of your information is missing, we will be unable to process your application.  We will attempt to call you at the number listed on your application.  If we are unable to reach you, your application will not be processed.
