Fairfield County 2-1-1 (2-1-1) coordinates referrals to food pantries in Fairfield County for individuals and families. To get a food referral, call the 2-1-1 office at 740-687-0500 or 2-1-1 anytime between 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. An I&R Specialist will review the different pantries and you can choose which pantry (within guidelines) you would like to visit. When you arrive at the food pantry, you will need social security cards for all members of the family and a photo ID for all adults as well as proof of Fairfield County residency. In partnership with The Lions Club and Gift of Sight, Fairfield County 2-1-1 provides assistance for eye glasses and in some cases, eye exams. Qualifications for eye glasses include Fairfield County residency for at least six months, proof of income, social security cards for everyone in the house hold, proof of address, and eye prescription if applicable.
