Benefit Bank (TBB)

The Benefit Bank is a web-based, counselor-assisted program that simplifies and centralizes the process of applying for many state and federal benefits for low and moderate income individuals and families.  The Benefit Bank is a free service.  TBB is structured to assure the privacy and confidentiality of all client data.  The following are Benefit Bank host sites (call ahead to see if an appointment is necessary):

Consumer credit counseling services include:  budget management counseling, debt management counseling and credit card consolidation.  This office also offers counseling by phone or by mail.  All consultations are free.

 

Free Credit Reports

www.annualcreditreport.com

Provides a free copy of your credit report from Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax. There will be a charge for your credit  score.

Offers a variety of classes that teach budgeting, getting out of debt, credit card debt, increasing savings, and identity theft.  They also offer first time home buyer information.  Call for times and locations.
